School fees are one of our biggest and most urgent expenses and in Zimbabwe’s current economic climate, it’s harder than ever to keep up. Right now, 31 primary and secondary students and 4 university students are relying on us to stay in education. Together, that’s £814 every month just to cover the very basic fees.
To make matters tougher, the grants market is saturated, and our usual funding streams have taken a big hit. We believe this is temporary, but in the meantime, we need to bridge the gap to ensure no child’s education is interrupted.
That’s why we’ve launched this Crowdfunder, to cover all 35 students for a full term and give a buffer for school supplies, accommodation for University students and emergencies. We need to reach £5,000 to cover these costs and every gift, big or small, will help children like Lucy, Rudo, and Makanaka keep learning, dreaming, and building brighter futures.
